So - is this what happened -
a whore called Stormy tried to blackmail Trump to ruin his election chances in 2016
so she was paid money to shut her up?
Is she being charged with blackmail?

If someone is blackmailing you then why shouldn't you be allowed
to hide the payments using your legal fees?
Why does the Govt. have to know everything?
Trump had good reason to want to hide the blackmail as it would affect the election outcome
and he reckoned it was all false allegations anyway.
It was only the word of a whore.
Stormy Daniels should have been the one on trial - not Trump - it's all political.
It's something you would have seen under Stalin and all his show trials.

Bobby, when someone makes a threat of blackmailing you, you have the option of calling their bluff. Nothing could be tied to Trump having an affair with a porn star. But to pay off the porn actress with altered financial records was probably the dumbest thing that the former president could do. You keep your mouth shut and deny any wrong doing.

He was worried that some voters would believe her false story and
so he would have lost the 2016 election.
What a bitch she is - you don't kiss and tell - even if it's true.

Even in a situation where Trump thought that voters might believe Clifford's story, the chances of her getting mileage out of the story would have died off very quickly. Trump should have just stuck with denying the affair took place, instead of making the situation worse leaving a paper trail that investigators and the prosecutors used against him.
