Ummm cleaning out the shed, incl 3 old fridges, and three bottles of mead were found.
When I say “old” I mean before 2000—25yo mead, maybe older.
Mead is a high alcohol drink—honey ferments pretty good until all its sugars are used up, so safe to drink at any age.
Opened one bottle—smelled clean, no putrid odors. Was beautifully clear red-brown mead in my glass. Drank as smoooooth as silk as well as clear as glass. Some bitterness at the back of the mouth. Hmmm don’t remember making a Metheglin flavored with hops. Odd! (metheglin, a mead flavored with spices including hops.)
Damn nice tho!
Very old mead

Very nice too.

Nope. You live to get attention. I take a drink now and then. Occasionally, I take a bit too much.
I do not trust people who say they never drink: if they lie about that what else do they lie about?
