He gets 'sexually assaulted' and then responds with 49 stabs with a bloody knife which, unsurprisingly, ended in the death of the poof.

Imagine some role reversal? We don't know the details of the 'sexual assault' but I am having some trouble concluding that a reaction with 49 stabs is the outcome of 'extreme provocation' and not rather, out of control revenge or something similar.

I wasnt there...however I think that 49 strikes with a knife seems like
murder to me....
Was he carrying the knife at the time...why...
Did he go into the kitchen and get it...and then stab him 49 times....

How long does it take to stab someone 49 times...a minute...
Manslaughter seems a bit light to me....
