The problem with Ponzi schemes is you need
a constant supply of new suckers.

The idiots in Canberra have been running a population Ponzi scheme for well over 2 decades, throwing the citizens they were pledged to protect under the bus and claiming they were economic geniuses. It took this idiotic Covid hoax for them to come unstuck. At least regular Aussies might be able to afford a roof over their heads now, assuming they can hang onto their jobs.

How the COVID-19 pandemic will cause Australia's population to plunge for the first time since World War I -
sparking fears of a 40 per cent collapse in house prices.

National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation predicts population fall
Australia's population was tipped to shrink by 0.8 per cent from 2019 to 2021
This would see the number of people decline by 214,000 without immigration
Only World War I and 1971 end of post-war baby boom saw comparable plunge
Reserve Bank of Australia already worried about 40 per cent house price drop.

It's not a bad thing that housing prices take a dive. They can't keep going the way they were.

Don't hold your breath waiting for house prices to fall in the cities. It just isn't happening as the simple harmless cold VIRUS is now old hat.
