whales

I did not know that whales had australian passports. According to bob brown, the japanese are hunting AUSTRALIAN whales. Him saying that makes him no better than the whalers in my eyes. He's a green forphuxake. He should know that whales (or any sea creature for that matter) is not owned by anybody. we have the 200 mile economic zone for business matters, but sea things don't know this, and don't need passports to swim anywhwere they like.
In saying this, i'm not in favour of any whale hunting; it sickens me. But then a lot of japanese are horrified that we kill and eat kangaroos... Education is the key.

LoL. Few Japanese would even know about us eating kangaroos if "we" weren't giving them such a hard time about their marine mammal eating habits. Disingenuous outrage.

And, frankly, I couldn't give a shit about those "bad assed pirates" getting run down by a Japanese ship, and then whining like bitches about it. They go out of their way to put themselves in danger. HTFU, or GTFO, media bitches.

I have no problem with Japanese whaling but they should be fair, throw the same amount of fat, Japanese sumu wrestlers into the cold waters of Antartica and see if the whales save them or are indifferent?

someone should tell them that kangaroos are not an endangered species and live within the boundaries of Australia..as for education, doubt they would want to listen because it would not suit their cause.

Someone should tell all our deluded hippes and pirate criminals that there is more than one species of whale, and many of them (especially the main target species) are very common and not at risk of over-harvest.

Thats a bit easy isnt it FD?..

The blue whale population has dropped to less than 3% from 350.000

I think figures are being over simplified.. as well as being slaughtered by Japanse etc..they also have to contend with ever changing environmental factors which effect their food suppy..
