The main thing to do is make sure that you OWN a house (or apartment) outright, so that you do not have to pay rent in your retirement.

STOP thinking that The Government is going to give you $500 a fortnight Age Pension "because you earned it".

Although, The Government, says you will have to live on your Superannuation Pension .... those who are regarded as needing assistance, WILL get it.

We need more young people paying INCOME TAX. We need INDUSTRIES ... people making stuff and exporting it .... however, the pay rate in Australia is so HIGH that it makes the cost out of reach. Good on the Unions. NOTHING is made in Australia any more.
