What is it like to wear a hijab?

Regional mosque throws its doors open and shows women what it's like to wear a hijab - at least some Australians aren't afraid of Muslims and what they wear...

Probably pretty much the same as wearing chains.

Don't want no muzzo primitive garb in a civilized country
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

why not a day where Muslim women do not wear a jihab?... now that also would be interesting..

it has nothing to do with the Koran.....

so can we presume a male decided hair was sexy and needed to be covered up..... not just female flesh

if you look close at those pictures there isnt a whole lot of flesh showing either.....

in Rockhampton I am sure less is more!

if Muslim women wish to be liberated....ie! drive a car... then they should imo start by discarding that scarf

It would have to impede their ability to drive.
You would not be able to see properly through that shite.

Either remove the ridiculous headwear, or don't drive, simple really.

Cods pet.... depending on their apparel their vision can be impeded whilst driving. That is the point.

Brian is in WA, isn't he? Maybe he hasn't seen a lot of Muslims there?

However ....
According to the 2016 census, the Muslim population numbered 604,235 individuals, of whom 42% live in Greater Sydney, 31% in Greater Melbourne, and 8% in Greater Perth.
I remember an American email friend asking me about "coloured" people in Canberra. As it happened, I had to sit and wait (about 45 minutes) for somebody at the Belconnen Mall. I counted 4 "coloured" people (including a Mother with a baby in a pram), a couple of females wearing scarves and a few Asian people but most people were Caucasian. That was several years ago and undoubtedly there are a lot more these days. :D
