Re: Blockchain
Blockchain? No idea. Something to do with "investing" or something.
Remember:
1. Your main asset is your abode, so make sure you pay off your Mortgage before you "retire".
2. There is only so much money you can spend, the rest you waste.
3. Eventually you will run out of ideas on what to waste your money on.
4. Your kids will get what ever is left over and waste it.
5. Stop worrying about how you will survive once you get too old to work.
6. You do NOT need as much money as "they" say to retire and have a great life, travel, etc.
7. Once you retire, your ideas change about "money" ... unless you rent!
8. Relax
9. Happy retirement
10. In the end we all end up the same way!

Re: Blockchain
In simple terms it's an uneditable ledger so it has unlimited potential in its application for finance.Super Nova wrote:WTF is this, anyone have any ideas.

Bitcoin and the like are just a simple use of the blockchain which has resulted a techno-ponzi bubble simply because its main purpose is making illegal trade easier. It's certainly a sector to watch but there will be many startups that will fall over taking investor cash with them in pump-n-dumps that will be more common than viable tech companies.
It's a little like the start of the internet where porn was the major generator of online business or Netscape was the search engine of choice. The potential has yet to be realised and there will be many bubbles fuelled until an application captures the best available use.
