a lovely yet sad story I think its wonderful this young man can make these kids misery go away for a short while...
PRINCE Harry has secretly visited a terminally ill boy who touched his heart a year ago during a surprise visit to a London hospital.

Channelling his late mother Diana, the 32-year-old prince was photographed tenderly cradling six-year-old Ollie Carroll, who he first met in 2016.

The image has gone viral, not least because it evokes memories of Princess Diana embracing a young cancer victim.

Ollie Carroll suffers from a rare genetic condition called Battens Disease, for which there is no known cure, and will eventually leave him unable to walk, talk, see, eat or breathe.

The youngster melted the prince’s heart last year when they met at an award ceremony. Despite great difficulties, the little boy managed to walk towards the prince and give him a hug.

“What happened that day was truly magical,” Ollie’s mum Lucy wrote on Facebook. “Ollie used all of his strength to stand on two feet to give Prince Harry a huge hug.

“We truly believe in that moment a bond was made between Ollie and Prince Harry.”

Harry has privately kept in touch with the family and on Tuesday, he spent an hour at the Great Ormond Street Hospital with Ollie and his three-year-old sister Amelia, who also has the disease.

Ollie’s mum posted the photo of the prince holding her son.

“For an hour Prince Harry sat with us talking and playing with our children, laughing and making memories,” she wrote. “It was truly incredible to watch him with our children and to have the opportunity to talk with him about our journey with Battens.

Done.

Harry looks really happy and genuinely seems to enjoy what he does.
