I hope for the governments sake they can pin something on them, otherwise it looks like an impression of the former Soviet Union during an election campaign.
What the fuck is Turnbull thinking?

Have you smoked too many cones skip?
The Feds are completely Independant of the govt. They have good info that the ALP have committed an illegal act. I'm just surprised it took this long to investigate the pieces of shit.
The whole party along with the greens should be incarcerated with never to be released stamped on their files. Shorten managed to cause a head on collision and the greens have been paying his babysitters $3.75 an hour while both have been whining about wages and road safety.
Fucking hypocrites, the both of them. Hiding while crying.
fluffy bunnies.

The timing is interesting to say the least.
As for Shorten, I wasn't impressed with his actions after the accident. It reminded me of the day the election was called and he was filmed having beers with those two miners from Tasmania that had been trapped for a week or so ten years ago.
His advisers obviously thought it would be good press.

The AFP might work independently, but they still do the bidding of whatever party is in government at the time. Regardless of what an NBN spokesman said at the time - it's hard to believe they instigated this 6 months ago. Turnbull has also been muttering about a DD for the same 6 months.skippy wrote:I hope for the governments sake they can pin something on them, otherwise it looks like an impression of the former Soviet Union during an election campaign.

This looks very petty considering the stuff up Turnbull has made of the NBN - rising costs, broken promises etc.

You always spout the negative propaganda and buy into the conspiracy crap mantra... are the independent or doing the governments bidding, has the rollout progressed ahead of ALP pace and cheaper than the ALP could have done it or not.

It might end up being a fraction cheaper - but nowhere near the quality that was originally promised. Most of Telstra's wiring isn't being replaced. The whole project has been a waste of money.

Sorry mantra the network is mostly fibre not copper.
The ALP were blaming the AFP now they are blaming NBN CO... who will they blame next?

I doubt Turnbull would dirty his reputation with such a matter. At face value anyway.skippy wrote: What the fuck is Turnbull thinking?
According to what I've read in the newspapers, 2 NBN Co employees suspected of the leaks have been suspended on full pay pending AFP's
findings.
Chief Executive Officer of NBN Co, Bill Morrow stated the suspensions were
held off until after the AFP raids so the ALP would have no prior warning.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Re: ALP raided by the feds
NBN subscribers in the bush are complaining that NBN satellite broadband data limits are worse that dial up regardless of what plan they're on.
Turns out I'm eligible for satellite NBN, but after seeing how slow neighbours download speeds are I'll give it a miss and get a dongle to tap into the phone towers.
