On the TV
I am making this separate to the movies topic because sometimes people get upset about not strictly adhering to the topic title.
I watch a lot of shows on tv that most here would probably never watch lol.
Marvel's Daredevil was a good series and I am looking forward to Season 2 on 18th March.
Jessica Jones followed and was equally as good.
Luke Cage is the next one to hit the screens this year.

Re: On the TV
I must admit I hardly watch TV anymore. If I do it's usually ABC news 24 or shows like Insiders. If I do watch other things I must admit I'm partial to the NCIS franchise.I usually prefer to watch British drama comedy or game shows like QI.

I like NCIS LA and, as much as I love Mark Harmon, I went off NCIS a bit when whatsherface left. The Israeli.
I find the news and political shows repetitive and biased and, although I watch them occasionally, I prefer to watch shows that you don't have to think about. I love a good drama.
The news is downright depressing even though much of what we should know is blocked and I tend to watch the more politically inclined shows around election time.

I recently watched the Irish series "The Fall" and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Not only was the clever serial killer played by Jamie Dornan an excellent actor, he was also a feast for the eyes. Gillian Anderson who has matured a lot since the X factor excelled in her role as a detective. You couldn't fault the dialogue.

I saw that too, Mantra. The BBC Channel. I understand that there will be a 3rd Series of The Fall, filming begins this year.mantra wrote:I recently watched the Irish series "The Fall" and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Gillian and David are returning next week in the new X Files. I am in two minds about it but will give the first one or two a go, to be fair.

A third series? That's good news. I was hoping that beautiful young killer wouldn't die, although it looked like he was about to at the end of the last series. I loved the accent too. Great acting by all the cast.Neferti~ wrote:I saw that too, Mantra. The BBC Channel. I could never watch the X Files and I didn't think much of Gillian Anderson, but she's definitely improved with age. Maybe the new series will be better.Black Orchid wrote:Gillian and David are returning next week in the new X Files. I am in two minds about it but will give the first one or two a go, to be fair.

I was never a huge fan of the X Files but my son wants to give the new series a go so I will watch it with him.
I have The Fall but haven't started watching it yet. I might start it on the weekend. It has great reviews.

Re: On the TV
Am watching the last season of Downton Abbey now. The Walking Dead should start back up soon but I don't know why I bother with it sometimes. That is all the TV I really have time to keep up with. There is another British show called Indian Summers I watched a few months back and enjoyed it. Season Two should be coming around sometime this year.
