Let's not confuse Menzies Liberal with liberal values.

Post by Rorschach » Thu Nov 20, 2014 3:47 pm

Posted this one for Skippy who seems a tad confused. Perhaps his Howard hatred is to blame. But it is time for RE-EDUCATION Skippy and time you got over the past and the hatred.

Menzies was not a liberal.
His party was not founded on liberal values.
It was founded on Liberal values, which in turn came from Menzies himself and Conservative Australia.

Oh and skip one should not be disingenuous and so narrow as to claim Conservatism does not embrace change for the better, because it does.

Can you explain what you've just posted? It is a huge contradiction. If you don't know just say so unless this is a guessing game.

If you don't understand the difference between big "L" and little "l" L/liberals then I suggest you don't infer that someone "doesn't know" what they are talking about.

Be a good little girl and try and sit back in the corner with your mouth closed for a change and watch and try and learn.

It's not a contradiction at all, do you need an adult to explain it to you?
Or perhaps Skippy could explain it to you, I'm sure he actually knows the difference.

My error. I usually don't look for clarity in your posts.

Yes. Little "l" liberal is the lot that spend other peoples' money. ie SOCIALISTS.

Big "L" Liberal is what the Liberal Party was all about ........ economic liberalism .........

For a change Rawsack actually got something right.

Correct, Menzies was not a liberal, he was a royalist, and had the same distain for Australians and Australia that Paul Keating has.

The party he founded is not and never has been liberal, thus is a misnomer.

Labor, formerly Labour, probably did represent its nake sake decades ago, but would be better termed the Bludger Party these days.

The Greens once stood for environmentalism, but in recent years has morphed into a Moonbat veg nazi party out to destroy the environment by giving feral animals protected species status.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
