It's even crept in up here near Gladstone.

One helluva dust storm - covers half a continent.

Hey, hey Lefty has made it, and it took little old me, an IT fuckwit, to do it.

(boxy......firefox is the problem.)

Great to see to you posting as a Member.

....and as for the dust!

Given what it was like here about 4 hours ago, unless there is a change in wind direction, you have much more on the way!

Now, let's see if JW Frogen can do what Lefty managed.

Man, I can see the moon and Mars (and they're getting dimmer) but no stars at all. It ain't cloud.

Forget hanging out the washing.

A bit hazy this morning but nothing like the photos and footage from further south. You can smell dust in the air though.

Beautiful temperature, about 8 degres cooler than normal.

In-laws from Iron Knob still here ATM - worried that when they get home, they will need a snow plough to get to their front door :)

We thought it was safe the day after most of it had hit, so we hung washing but when it rained it made the washing muddy and we had to rewash it again.
