Mr Abbott said there was no doubt the Coalition would deliver on its election promise.

"And my message for the people-smugglers is `The game is up for you'.

Abbott and mates however keep quietly in place!

"On 27 August 2012, the Attorney-General directed that the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP) shall not institute, carry on or continue to carry on a prosecution for an aggravated people smuggling offence under section 233C of the Migration Act unless the person had committed a repeat offence, their role in the people smuggling venture extended beyond that of a crew member or a death occurred during the people smuggling venture.
