I have a very bad feeling about Russia and may be coming home sooner than planned just before it all explodes.
President Putin will launch a full-scale military assault on the Syrian city of Aleppo as early as this week, according to western intelligence.
The Russian leader plans to exploit a political hiatus in Washington during the presidential election and its aftermath to secure a decisive victory in the rebel-held east of the city by the middle of January for his ally, President Assad.
I think Trump will just roll over.
More chance of Hiltlery starting war with Russia than Trump.
Assad with the support of Russia is probably the best possible scenario for stability in the region. Hitlery would only introduce an unstable puppet administration that would be easily undermined.
I rather trust Putin than Hitlery..

You know, I have to agree with you on this. The US and the West have really screwed up Syria and Iraq. We have sided with the rebels to again seek regime change in a sovereign country because we don't like the leadership now. We are happy with despots if they dance to the west's tune. This has allowed the rise of ISIS which is what Trump is claiming and he is right. Well it started with Bush but it was Obama who told them when they were leaving Iraq and the Syria mess is under Obama and Hilary's watch.
Also, while Russia is to be respected and even feared, Putin doesn't take shit well and getting into Syria and sorting it out once and for all is a good thing for the people. Isn't that what it is all meant to be about, the people. These people have suffered WWII type devastations for what. So the west can have a change in regime that is not aligned with Russia. I expect Russia to flex some muscle in the next 12 months and the west to go into paralysis. Maybe Trump could strike a new relationship with Russia but it will be at the cost of giving up ground in the world control map and no-one in the west will like that. I see little choice. A war with Russia is not an option and another proxy war will spiral out of control.
I think Trump is not presidential material but the people want a change from the establishment, that I can understand.
Hilary is establishment with too many bodies buried but is more presidential, hell she knows all the dirty tricks needed to be president.

I am tuned. In the hotel in Denmark I have to watch CNN because sometimes it the only thing in English worth watching. I now hate CNN ad music.
Actually, we are following closely and I don't know why. Like watching a car crash in slow motion and not being able to look away.

What do you think the feeling is in the USA, AIA?
As outsiders here we are being told Trump is a joke with no chance.

'Hillary, as Secretary of State, would sell terrorist nations large weapons deals only after they gave her a very generous donation to her “foundation.” These weapons, provided by Hillary and her State Department, then filtered down from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Libya, and so on to create, supply, and bolster terrorist groups.'

So what happens if Clinton wins, does someone assassinate her? Do the streets run red?
What if Trump wins to we have rioting and civil disobedience?
Is America doomed to become even more divided than it is already?

Whether Trump wins or loses it means big changes for the Republicans. If he wins it will shake up the party that much more and the fallout will be harder. If he wins it means that not just a Democrat will win in 2020 but someone far to the left of Hillary.
