Going to watch John Wick: Chapter 2 tonight. The first one was good so hopefully this one will be too.

Watched the final installment of the rebooted Planet of the Apes trilogy: War for the Planet of the Apes. If you enjoyed the first two then go see this one. If you didn't or care fuck all about intelligent Apes then forget about it. The movie did, like all of its predecessors, drive home the point of man's inhumanity.

Spiderman - Homecoming.
6/10

Lots of past movie regurgitation along the lines of the StarTrek reboot where the events are slightly changed. That didn't help the movie. Tony Stark/Iron man is in it and The Iron Man bits are probably the best bits. Spiderman is now Spiderboy at 14 yo supposedly. MJ has changed, he has a chubby Asian/American sidekick and a talking suit... think a female Jarvis. Which also doesn't help. In fact his whole suit has been Ironmanised... totally destroying the premise.

Tobey Maguire is still the best Spiderman.

I thought this interesting and it shows to me that women do age and still look good... in some cases... or am getting old too.

Also some of them I wouldn't give a second glance today but they were stunning when young.

Saw Dunkirk last night. Enjoyed it well enough but it isn't really a must see ...

"Valerian" has already been labeled a flop. "Dark Tower" seems interesting. Will be seeing "It" this later this year and "The Darkest Hour"
