I think it's time to work on herd immunity.

But we just need to be sensible and vigilant. Is that asking too much? Yep unfortunately it is.

I've been slowly preaching this message to basically everyone I know online and offline : re Christmas & New Year - stay home and stay put. Do what you can online and limit travelling where possible. Even then use your own car and wear a mask and use your QR code. And keep hand sanitizer in the car too.

If we all did this I reckon Covid19 would seriously piss off and numbers re infections would drastically reduce over the Christmas/New Year period.

But on TV I've seen idiots in night clubs -
enclosed spaces with little ventilation -
packed in like sardines -
jumping up and down -
and drunken girls kissing every boy they can find.

Yep. That's about right too!

I picked up Hubby from work this afternoon and as we were heading out of the city ... and all the way back home as we drove past major shopping centres etc ...we couldn't believe the crowds out and about. No masks no idea no care in the world. Hubby turned to me every few kms to say this : WTF? It's like they've never heard of Covid19.

He also mumbled something about The Matrix which is a movie I've never seen (so I couldn't quite discuss whatever parallels he thought he could see and that gave him the shits lol).

As a matter of fact he's threatened me with that movie now. Apparently we're watching it this weekend. God I hope it's not boring.

It seems like Hazard was right, for once, but with over 21,000 cases and only 69 in intensive care I'd say there's nothing much to worry about though.

I'm worried as we don't know what the future holds.

If Omicron is very mild then it could be a blessing
to give us immunity from the stronger variants.

I think Omicron should just be let go like Morrison wants and like NSW is doing. It will probably be the only hope of giving us herd immunity as the 'vaccine' certainly won't do that.

Of these 21,000 cases 99% of them don't even have any symptoms. Those that do just have symptoms like a slight cold.

If we start getting high numbers of deaths then it will change everything.
So far there is only a small jump in deaths.

I think 10 people have died worldwide WITH Omicron and not necessarily FROM it. I'm not worried.

Unvaccinated people "are 17 times more likely" to be hospitalized with Covid-19,
CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said Wednesday.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky
"What I can tell you is that compared to people who are boosted, if you are unvaccinated,
you are 10 times more likely to be a case and 20 times more likely to be a fatality,"
she said at a White House Covid-19 briefing.
