Yeah...............depends entirely on what they are counting. Very glad I'm not scrutineering this week. Each ballot paper would have many microscopes on it. Lots of tension down there, I'm sure.

If Clive gets there, he will be on the 'cross benches,' and there are pretty restrictive conditions on how many questions they each get to ask in QT.

Clive will be bored shitless just sitting in the HoR, doodling. I doubt you'll see him in Parliament much, and there's not much point him being there unless there is a vital vote. BUT.................his presence will always be great support for his Senators. What I want of him if he gets there is stuff happening on the LNP neglected Sunshine Coast, a place of great beauty, and where businesses fail every day, the local economy is rooted, unemployment is horrendous and our intelligent youth leave to get jobs.

Really? Didn't Rudd/Gillard/Rudd do that for you? Now you expect Tony Abbott's Government to do something for the fucking sunshine coast? How about you lot do something for YOURSELVES instead of relying on Government?

There are 458 postals and pre-polls left to count and the flow has been favouring Mr O'Brien so far.

Absentee votes have been leaning Mr Palmer's way in the roller-coaster race, but there are just 333 of those to count.

An automatic recount will be ordered if fewer than 100 votes separate the rivals, which would spark another nailbiting week before the result is finally declared.

Quite the risk taker aren't you, given he has said publicly a zillion times that is exactly what he wants irrespective of the final count.

Risk taker?

Let's hope that Clive doesn't have a coronary and you have to go back to the Polls.
