This Bloke is still wet behind the legal ears, only two years having passed since he was admitted, and even during those two years, he was not practicing as a Barrister, he was a shitty LNP staffer. Now, he gets $2,000.00 a day, annualised at $730,000.00.

Such is the State of Corruption in Queensland.
Most politicians appear to be corrupt. It's a disgrace that so many public servants lost their jobs and programs were closed then suddenly cronies of the party were hired at ten times the salary. By the time Labour manage to gain back enough seats to win an election - the people of Qld will be well and truly sick of Newman, but unfortunately you're going to be stuck with the LNP for many years to come Aussie.

O'Farrell - although far from perfect, so far seems to be more moderate.

Well government itself is little more than an extortion racket, and so bound to be corrupt.
OK, Sir Joh Bjelkie Peanut-Farmer ran the most corrupt govt in OZ history, and yes "Quinslund" was a police state.
Then we had Goss, then Beattie, then Bligh, and now Newman, and its still a corrupt police state. Little has changed.
And the DPP (at Maroochydore) is still the militant wing of the National Party.

Fact is, it was common knowledge Newman was going to take the axe to the public service, and most Kweenslanders agreed with putting an end to the unfordable culture of perverted entitlement. Can't say I'm bothered by his slash and burn antics, because as he's sacked all the park rangers in my area, it's perfectly safe to hunt feral pigs in National Parks. 8-)
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
