In that case the USA needs to do something about their voting system! Too late for this election though!Black Orchid wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 5:56 pmI do postal votes too but this is different. We apply for them here and our identity is confirmed before they are sent out. These ones aren't the problem in the US and are called absentee mail outs and are confirmed.
The problem ones were the mass mail out ones sent out by the Democrats to tens of millions of people and just dumped in doorways etc and neither asked for nor verified. Sent to dead people, cats, dogs or whoever and left for anyone to fill in whichever way they want, however many times they felt like it and with any signature they felt like scribbling.

I am so happy that Texas is leading the way. My Senator has volunteered to present the case in Pennsylvania before the Supreme Court. He has successfully tried several cases before the Supreme Court as the Texas Attorney General. It would help if the legislatures from the 4 states would also join Texas.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:24 am17 states have now joined Texas. The tragedy here is that supreme court will most likely refuse to look at it,,Texan wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:31 amI am so happy that Texas is leading the way. I don't know. This law suit may force their hand. They can't ignore it. They either have to accept the case or deny it. There is legal precedent and plenty of evidence to support that the state laws enacted by state legislatures were altered or ignored. It's a plain violation of our Constitution all day long. These 4 states have alienated every other state that has obeyed the supreme law of the land. Several states have joined Texas and this is becoming too big of a deal to ignore. If the Constitution doesn't mean anything, then we aren't a country.BigP wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 9:15 amThe tragedy here is that supreme court will most likely refuse to look at it,,Texan wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 8:31 amI am so happy that Texas is leading the way. There is an interesting story about that song. The supposed Yellow Rose was a teen named Mary West. She was a mulatto indentured servant and is credited with "distracting" Mexican General Santa Anna so that he narrowly escaped capture in his silk budgie smugglers and was captured the next day still wearing them.billy the kid wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 11:27 amhttps://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=so ... Brilliant...thanx for that Tex...
My late father often played the song and sang along when I was a boy.
Reminds me of my childhood adoration of Davy Crockett (played by Fess Parker in those days)
The Battle of the Alamo...seen it many times...
He also adored this one....
Fond memories....
