Really? Is that why her old (new) political party has done so badly at the recent state elections? Appears to me that a growing number of Australians are turning their backs on her divisive, abusive and stupid comments, BO. She is, as I keep pointing out, badly served by the men who supposedly advise her. To me, it appears she believes what she was last told, not what she should know and understand. If she had the proper minders, she could be PM tomorrow. However, she doesn't and never will. Her views are backward, overtly critical and dangerous. They appeal to the lowest common denominator - Racism and by extension, Islamophobia. She refuses to learn, her mind is closed. I doubt she has had an original thought in her life. She never completed High School - nothing wrong with that but that was where her learning stopped. Her mother hated Asians and that showed in her first incarnation in the late 1990s. Since then, she has focused primarily on Muslims. She has repeated all the old lies and innuendos about them.Black Orchid wrote:Pauline may not articulate well but she says a lot of things that many (in growing numbers) Australians think.
Instead of focusing on her level of support, look at the level of people who refuse to vote for her or her party. It has been increasing. In 1998, she scored a landslide win in Queensland. The same year, Australia wide, three quarters of the electorate refused to vote for the PHONies. In WA, Queensland, few voted for the PHONies. Queenslanders are weird and it shows in their support for the PHONies. It is a minor, valueless party. It is only concerned with white, Anglo-Saxon/Celtic, Settler descended Australians. She and it hate anybody who is educated and sensible. She seeks to persecute anybody who is different - Indigenous Australians, Asian Australians, Muslim Australians, anybody.
She once declared she was through with Australia. She was going to immigrate to the UK where there were no immigrants. That died quickly once she realised the UK has nearly as high a proportion of Immigrants as Australia. Funny that. She is in love with a romantic view of society, a 1950s, white picket fence, white Australia. She is a loon. We are never going back to that, thank goodness. It was boring, quaint and foolish.
