some times agnes thats the body sending warnings.....maybe low iron or something its worth telling the doctor next time...

the flu has been bad so the headlines say but I dont know of anyone thats had it here and we have had a very cold winter...mind you I dont get out and about like I once did.....stay away from the shops as much as I can as I find I spend too much....go in for a loaf of bread and spend $98....it scares me!
I am a bit low on iron and Vit D- makes sense cods- will ask him next time I am there- I kind of thought it was the beginning of a flue but flue never came- but I can't complain about that ? I know what you mean about money going nowhere- you have to be so strict on yourself and most times I can't be that strict- when I want to do some real damage I go into the pharmacy :giggle

I used to take Vitamin D on Doctor's orders but recently I developed a rash on my wrists after being in the sun and the only thing different I was doing was taking Vitamin D. So I stopped.

My GP told me to take Vit D too ... he said to take 2 in Winter. I don't sit out in the sun anyway, Summer or Winter, not that he knows that. They are supposed to help your immune system too or something.

Oh, I have never been "allergic" to anything but last year I had a chest infection and the GP prescribed antibiotics and I came out in a few little spots of a VERY itchy rash ... on arms and upper chest ... the antibiotic was doxycycline, and the rash appeared within 20 minutes of taking them, so presume I am "allergic" to doxycycline. Went back and got something else ....

you can be allergic to pencillin which is what antibis are.....sometimes its the brand..I took a brand of highblood pressure and ended up with a nasty cough
the doctor told me 10% of people are allegic to it.. always worth checking..

My Dad was allergic to penicillin and it almost killed him. I was a little kid and I still remember him swollen and black in hospital dying. The Doctors said there was a new and untried drug in the USA and they could use him as a guinea pig. They had it sent out and tested it on him and it worked thank God but if he ever got even the smallest dose of penicillin again he would have died.

The moral of the story is that there are many antibiotics that are not penicillin based.

I cannot believe that while I was typing the above I saw an ad on the tv for something called Ipoo. Anyone else see that? :rofl

You spray it in the toilet bowl before you go number two and it masks the smell. LOL!!

Yes I have heard of similiar products- and one to treat the problem before it actually leaves your body :|

Apparently Vit D deficiency is very common - taking a supplements and getting a bit more sunshine can't hurt so I am- I am putting my kids on it too and too hear them whine-
It turns out I do have a fluey kind of thing now ~ damn! :?
