In Greens members online forum I asked the question "Is Tim Flannery an idiot?".
Quite a few QG members weren't impressed - too bad, so sad.

Their response came as a surprise to you?

Considering their claim to be the party with the highest proportion of tertiary educated members in OZ, and taking for granted such individuals would understand the mass lung cancer implications of terraforming the planet with photochemical smog, yes.

Y'see I was under the misapprehension that someone had to have a certain level of intelligence to be accepted by a uni, until I went myself as a mature aged student (@ age 41)
and found most people at uni aren't particularly intelligent at all.
Yet morons everywhere still worship titles and letters after one's name.
