Just for a bit of light entertainment. A bug flew into my ear yesterday.
It was probably tiny but sounded huge BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ then silence and I thought it had buzzed off on its way BUT the damned thing is still in there because I can feel it.
I keep shaking my head to no avail and it hurts when I try to pop my ears. UGH!!
Not happy Jan!
Get someone to blow into your other ear, It should just pop out

Anyone bought anything from Kogan?
I've bought quite a few things from them with no problems and fast delivery but I recently bought an oil heater and the delivery driver must have dinged it in his truck and a couple of the columns on the bottom were a bit bent.
I was a bit concerned because you can't call them but I put in an email complaint and they called me tonight and are sending a new one and don't want me to send the other one back so now I will have TWO!
Anyway, I am a bit impressed lol.

Great. One to heat the theatre room, the other to heat the library

I'm looking for 5-10 acres to build a home on. I'd like to heat my home with a wood burning stove. Storms are always downing trees and limbs. What better way to get rid of them. A good stove can heat a 2000 s.f. house.(186 square meters) We don't have much of a Winter here anyway. Air conditioning is more important in Texas.

Air conditioning is more important here too. We are almost half way through winter and I am still in short sleeves. I love the coziness of a log fire though and miss that because I don't have one now. *sniff

Where I am it's that cold your bones ache!
Having said that, my place has a log fire. Shits all over electric heaters. There's just some things modern tech cannot beat.

I am on 13.5 acres and the main dwelling is heated predominantly by wood harvested from the property
