to do shopping or exercise.

I didnt watch his presso..why is he imposing a curfew...
Is that only because people cant be seen at night...
Therefore restrictions cant be enforced..
Therefore simply impose a curfew and everyone has to stay inside...
There have been riots worldwide over curfews...
It appears that this is Melbourne only, but regional Victoria also from Wednesday....
How can he enforce a curfew in regional Victoria....
My guess is that dogs not gunna chase....

that's 29km away.
I will have to ask the dentist on Monday -

I can't really see the point in an 8pm - 5am curfew. It can still be spread from 5am - 8pm. *shrug*
