Revolutionary, I know, but who knows, it may just work
Hardly revolutionary and something they are suggesting without your help.
I doubt it will actually solve the problem on its own though.
Got any more ideas?

I was asking a serious question, I'm still waiting for an answer from you.
I wouldn't ask if I didn't think you capable of coming up with something sensible.

Obviously. So what is YOUR answer then?
Basic restrictions... reasonable requirements to secure the weapons, limiting the ability to carry, especially concealed weapons, a limit on capacity and firepower... for a start.

Cool... any thoughts on how this would be implemented considering their constitution without changing their constitution?

Terribly sorry to interrupt,

Roachy Poachy Puddin' and Pie:

1. Is there a 'gun' problem is the USA?
2. If 'yes,' what is your solution?

Just asking. You and boxy can post the solutions. Obama is listening.

It says "well regulated", I don't see that placing some regulations on private citizens (few of whom would even consider themselves part of any potential militia) to ensure they, and their neighbours are safe, infringes on their ability to practice their marksmanship. Any sane Australian can hunt and target shoot all they like without needing to carry weapons around the street or have access to large capacity semi automatic or fully automatic weapons.

If they want to play with people killing guns, they should join the actual military... they don't have high standards.

Is it a gun problem or a drug problem...ie anti-depressant meds, seeing that the majority of shooters in the last 25 years have been on SSRIs.

In a country with 300 million people where they all have ready access to guns, yet the majority aren't out there blowing kiddies away...only the 'clinically depressed' are.

What's next on the fascist left list?
Purchase your rationed HJs/Maccas vouchers through your govt dept because of fat fucks?

If only he was Arsie.
I have my own ideas thanks, but for now I'm in listening mode.

It can be both. And allowing clinically depressed people to access guns (through lax regulation/licensing practices) only compounds both problems.
