So where do you stand. I was talking about Global Warming being real and the energy sink that is the oceans. I have agreed that the land warming has not been significant.

Why do you keep moving the goalposts...?
I've made where I stand abundantly clear many times.

SN, why are you posting commentary from known science deniers like "Dr Karl" who categorically denies that the pause is occurring and has publicly stated that the warming is 30 times higher than all known records?

As well, you post outdated alarmist websites that state no science but scary stories about thing that are not occurring.
Warmer oceans put coastal communities at risk, increase infrastructure costs, endanger polar creatures and threaten coral reefs and fisheries. Perhaps most alarmingly, rising ocean temperatures accelerate the overall warming trend.
You have a severe confirmation bias affliction and should really seek help because you are completely wrong on all counts.

Again, why are you ignoring the science and posting alarmist unsubstantiated unscientific rubbish?

I understand that you have dug yourself a hole but digging deeper and more frantically isn't going to get you out if it.

It is getting hard to tell what is BS and what is not. There are 2 camps and they contradict each other.

Camp 1: Global Warming is bollocks
example article: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/1136 ... rming.html
Another: http://www.thesleuthjournal.com/global- ... 1-looming/

Camp 2: Global Warming is real and we need to plan: http://www.livescience.com/49617-human- ... rming.html

However out of all the noise I tend to believe what I read in Scientific American with articles like this one... presented earlier.

http://www.scientificamerican.com/artic ... e-changes/

I think it has come down to the devil is in the politics not the science. However I am concerned when I see claims the data has been doctored but am less concerned when I see no agreement that this is the case from the scientific community.

For me it is like... you subscribe to the merchants of doubt... I am trying to be objective and understand the truth.

You are anything but objective.

You are completely subjective and seek out confirmation bias to prop up your scandalous repudiation of actual science to support your political assumptions.

You are like a simpleton from the 70s seeking out sensational stories on nuclear power and when you are unable to find mass deaths associated with power generation, you shift to nuclear enrichment program's to try and damage a legitimate form of power.

Like all simpletons, you will repeat your mantra over and over because you are a simpleton.

Why do you post lies, SN?

Does your new religion disagree with the actual science?

Ummm.... ditto then pot.

I don't know where to take this debate. Clearly an authority that both sides respect is required for this debate needs to appear.

I respect the opinion of guy like Martin Rees.

Image

On climate change, Rees will say he is pessimistic that global carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced to safe levels within the next 20 years, which means that concentrations of the gas in the atmosphere will rise above 500 parts per million (ppm) by the end of the century. This level could mean a rise in average temperatures of up to 6C, major melting of the ice caps and, potentially, the triggering of tipping points in the global environment that would accelerate dangerous climate change

he said the above over a year ago.

http://www.theguardian.com/science/2013 ... -lord-rees

However he thinks we will not do what is needed in time and need to use our brain for a plan B.

All the evidence points to no where near the warming you scare mongers cry about.

Which means no need to change the way humans have managed to drag themselves out of the dark ages and poverty.

You seem he'll bent on sending everyone back there and stopping those who are already there from lifting themselves out of it all to appease your fruit loop sook beta male gene.

IQ,

That report refers to the deepest part of the seas. Also in the same article you refer he states.
Coauthor Felix Landerer of JPL noted that during the same period warming in the top half of the ocean continued unabated, an unequivocal sign that our planet is heating up. Some recent studies reporting deep-ocean warming were, in fact, referring to the warming in the upper half of the ocean but below the topmost layer, which ends about 0.4 mile (700 meters) down.
The warming in the top half of the ocean continued unabated, an unequivocal sign that our planet is heating up.

Thank you for confirming what I am saying.

The warming in the top half of the ocean is not associated with the missing heat.
Do try to keep up and stop grasping at straws SN

You are looking desperate now and showing that you know even less about that which you protest so vehemently. Why is that I wonder?

I'd say its because you are a clueless gimp who idiotically parrots bullshit when you haven't got a fucking clue.
