Sticking with star trek... when did 'frontier' become 'frontear'. Sounds like most unfortunate biological disposition.

Clear from my typing here it is clear i am no grammar expert however i have noticed that in the UK they have a greater range of pronounciation and some of it is bloody appauling. It is used to dedect class and background from what i can tell. Some examples are;
free=Three
fink=think
them when it should be those e.g. "them people over there"
think=thing (k in stead of g) this one is bloody anoying.
The worst part of it is that over time I found myself slipping these in myself. When you hear this sort of thing all the time it appears i adjust automatically to the usage that is common around me. Like picking up a little american accent if you are around americans all the time. Has anyone noticed this? or is it just me because my grammar was average for an australian (well i think so anyway) and subject to influence.
