They're being conned by their own as well. I've spoken to many Aboriginal people who criticize the Aboriginal Corporations, which they themselves have said do nothing for the Abos as a whole. The Aboriginal Corps accept payment from mining companies and do little with it but line their own pockets.

Hmm.. sound familiar? It's called human nature, and this proves that being rorted/conned/ripped off happens to EVERYONE. Not just coons.

over the years I have had a certain sympathy for aboriginals but seriously we have bent over backwards to appease them.... and now they are allowing anyone to claim aboriginality even a bloody eskimo.no doubt!

You're absolutely right. The Australian Gov does believe that throwing money at something will fix it. I honestly don't think they care, just so long as they look like they are doing something. I agree with Hanson on the "Closing the gap" BS. But yeah, all this pandering to PC crap... it's just pissing people off and that's not cause they are "racist". They're just sick of the idiocy.
