Even the most primitive animal knows better than to keep attacking when you can't beat your enemy.

Hurt someone, and then tell them it will only get worse unless they behave.

I guarantee, they may try it once more

But after that, they behave.

They may not like it, they may even rebel.
But knock them down hard enough and they become compliant.

Where as the NZ economy has focused on food, as the world pop goes up the more we will sell ,

NZ grows so much high quality food that you'd think
they'd be the richest per capita nation in the world.
However - most of the world is too poor to pay for that food.

There are enough rich folk out there to buy our tucker

Maybe not.
NZ should be doing better -
rich volcanic soils coupled with abundant rainfall makes
farming much easier in NZ compared to Australia.
If the POMs get out of the Common Market - Brexit -
and rejoins the commonwealth then we should all get more exports to the UK of our food.
