the Greens...

Labor.. who take on Greens policy because they can't win without them.. thats why they are now a coalition....

the Labor/Greens Party...

vote for them at your own destruction....
The ALP is not in coalition at all, except in your wild imagination, Mechie. Tsk, tsk, do you enjoy repeating your lies all the time? The ALP hates the Greens. They see them as a danger to their voting base. They will not enter a coalition with them - unless desperate.

I wonder why you ignore the long history of both major parties with mass immigration?
The ALP and the Greens signed an agreement under Gillard and Brown... how soon you forget brian. Must have been desperate eh. They will do so again to gain power.
The leaders of the Greens and hence their supporters do not preference the Liberals they preference Labor. Just ask Milne or Di Natale. Don't you pay attention to current affairs?

Neferti~ wrote:ANZAC BISCUITS

Ingredients

2 level cups / 200g / 6 oz rolled oats

1 level cup / 125g / 4 1/2 oz plain flour

1/2 cup / 105g / 3 1/2 oz granulated sugar

125g / 4 1/2 oz butter

1 extra generous Tbsp golden syrup

1 tsp. bicarbonate of soda

2 tbsp. boiling water

Method

Pre-set oven 170F/150C, and line two baking trays with baking paper.

Put the oats, flour and sugar into a large bowl and mix well.

Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat, dip tablespoon in hot water and then use to measure the golden syrup, stir till dissolved and just coming to the boil - remove from heat source (but don't allow it to cool).

Stir the bicarbonate of soda with the measured boiling water until its dissolved then add to the pan of hot melted butter and golden syrup.

Stir until it 'froths up'- immediately add to the dry ingredients and mix all together.

Taking teaspoons or a flat dessert spoon of the mixture - place it in your hand, bring together by rolling into a ball, place 5 cm apart on the baking sheet (they will spread).

The biscuits need to be flattened slightly - use the base of a glass or, press down with a fork dipped in a little flour (this will stop it sticking).

Put trays in a pre heated oven for 15 - 18 minutes until golden (they will still be soft)

Leave the biscuits on the trays for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. When the biscuits are cold store them in an air tight tin.

Their has never been an ALP-Greens Coalition Federally. Funny how you've not produced any evidence of one, hey?
The ACT has an ALP-Greens Government. It was a hung government (again) and guess who the Greens went with? The Greens are leftards.

Sure, it isn't a "formal" coalition but .......... vote Green, you are a leftard.

The Federal COALITION is a different kettle of fish.
Did I suggest anywhere, any different, Neferti?

No, I did not. The Greens are a minor party. The ACT Self-Government was foisted on the ACT by the then ALP Government under Hawke. The population of the ACT voted against self-government in the 1980s - I know, I lived there at the time.

@ Brian

So Brian, you haven’t answered the question. Are the bollards that have been erected in Sydney for Anzac Day been done out of fear of terrorism that may be perpetuated by 72 year old ladies in twin sets and pearls?

I was just thinking about these today.. .

on the radio they were asking if you liked the soft ones or the hard ones...

I could eat a 100 of them... but then go on a downer from the massive sugar hit.. .lol

I got the urge and am making some now. One batch of crunchy ones, which I personally like, and another batch of chewy ones for the rest of them

Indeed! I am originally from Melbourne, moved to Sydney then Canberra in 1981 and yes, I remember voting NO to self government and Hawke saying "too bad, you are getting it anyway".

The Greens was only formed as a political party in 1992! Bob Brown was involved in the Tasmanian Wilderness Society ... the Franklin Dam etcetera. He was cute back then. ;)
