Aussie stated, "unequivocally" that he would not be a candidate in this Banana Bender Election. He has been in the past though. Apparently.Rorschach wrote:sure Clive sure...Despite polls, Palmer claims his party is still a force in QLD

Despite recent poor opinion polls, Clive Palmer claims his political party could still snatch the balance of power in Queensland at the state election. The mining magnate has been campaiging throughout the state this week. He says it's 'bullshit' to suggest that PUP candidates are dominated by his friends and employees.
hey maybe Aussie is running.
There are lists of people who have tried to gain "support" in a variety of Queensland Electorates for a variety of Parties and also Independents. NOBODY called "aussie" is on any of them.
Aussie talks bullshit a LOT.

How predictable.
Newman is struggling to keep his seat.
December figures.....unemployment down.
News alert!!!!!
Eighty percent of the new full time jobs for December were created in Qld.
Does the government think we're all brainwashed sheeples?
You'd have to off your freaking rocker to believe that bull shit.

Queensland election: Palmer United party promises to scrap payroll tax
Australian Associated Press
Sunday 18 January 2015 14.23 AEST
The Palmer United party has vowed to abolish payroll tax to revive Queensland’s economy.
The move would restore Queensland as the most prosperous state in the nation, the party’s state leader, John Bjelke-Petersen, said at the party’s campaign launch on the Sunshine coast on Sunday.
“Companies will move their offices and their activities from Sydney and Melbourne, and Queensland will boom,” he told the crowd at the Coolum resort of party founder Clive Palmer.
“There is no better way to create employment in Queensland than to offer real incentive for people to do business right here in Queensland,” he said.
The move would allow the “real serious problems” of the high cost of living to be addressed – a problem which “has been brought about primarily by poor government decisions and policy”, Bjelke-Petersen said.
Queensland’s payroll tax imposes a 4.75% levy on businesses that pay more than $1.1m a year in wages.
The premier, Campbell Newman, on Friday recommitted to a previous target of increasing the threshold to $1.4m in three years.
The PUP proposes that levy be dropped to zero to attract more business to Queensland. Payroll tax was “highly inefficient and damaging to the economy”, Bjelke-Petersen said.
The party also vowed to support the development of Sunshine coast airport into an international airport and restore the maintenance of main roads to the Department of Transport and Main Roads, claiming that contractors were given most of the work.
Bjelke-Petersen is running for the Queensland seat of Callide against the deputy premier, Jeff Seeney.
Palmer did not appear at the launch of his party’s campaign because he had the flu, his representatives said.

The unemployment numbers will rise in February......watch and see. Abbott just lied to give Newman a little boost.
Incidentally, I think the LNP will win the election, I just hope Newman gets booted out of his seat. I loved it when it happened to Bligh and Howard and I'll enjoy it even more with the Nazi man.

Unemployment figures always rise in February when all the school leavers, who have been sitting at home enjoying a long Summer holiday, get told by their parents to "Get a Job". So they register at Centrelink, en mass.Dame Pansi wrote:

You have a nasty streak there Pansi. Even when they get "booted out" they will still live on us Taxpayers for the rest of their natural lives. Better they stay employed as pollies and work for their crust, hey?Incidentally, I think the LNP will win the election, I just hope Newman gets booted out of his seat. QUEENSLAND ELECTION BETTING
Next Saturday Queensland goes to polls. The betting market suggests that the LNP government will be returned, but perhaps Premier Campbell Newman won’t be.
Probability of LNP victory: 80.3%
Probability of LNP winning in Ashgrove: 40.8%
Probability of LNP victory/ALP winning in Ashgrove: 44.2%*
Probability of LNP victory/LNP winning in Ashgrove: 37.3%
* I’ve calculated those percentages from the individual markets – I calculate this percentage should be 46%.
