I think you should find yourself a better burb to live in rainbow, to suggest a school needs security fencing more than a hall means you must live in a very bogan area or you watch too much American tv.
Or alternatively that I had more knowledge of schools and what goes on in and near then than you do. After all i have taught and have several children.

Security fencing would create more of a siege mentality than offer any type of real protection. It would be there to keep the kids in, rather than people out.

What it would do, and even more so if there was a 5 metre exclusion zone inside it, is it would make it obvious for people on duty when peopel from outside the school approached and came on to school grounds. That would help police such stuff as drug dealing, bullying by ex- school members, and adults who are entering for nefarious purposes.

Yes ,we all know how fertile you are.
My point still stands, "you taught" my wife still teaches, she's still pissing herself laughing at your post, so is my seven year old son.If you teach at a school that needs prison style fencing you should get a transfer.

The school across the road from me built a fence around the grounds. No more dogs shitting on the grounds seems to be the main effect it has had. That is no small improvement!

Obviously you wife doesn't have a clue about what goes on at the borders of even "good" schools. And she doesn't know of any children who have been abused by people from outside the school. Seems pretty strange to me that she could possibly not be aware of such things but then again some people just live in a dream world.
She must be one of the "there's no bullying in this school brigade" who shut their eyes to what is goign on in front of them or ignore it.
Then again, she chose you, so maybe that explains it.

As I've said you should try and get a job in a better sort of area, just because you live in a bogan area dosn't mean you need to teach in one as well.
As for you and my wife being different, you are correct, unlike you she dosn't have six kids to six different fathers.
Must be great fun on fathers day.

You are making numerous assumptions about me in your posts that have nothing to do with the truth.
I refuse to inform you further.
I hope your children are never subject to bullying, abuse, or drugs.

Exactly what sort of fencing did you have in mind RM? I have never seen a school that isn't fully fenced with lockable gates.
The hall will prove usefull to us. Full school assembly will be the least of it's uses. I'm thinking not just drama and theatre stuff but a wide range of indoor sports that cannot be played because the facilities do not exist at most primary schools. We could use it improve security by using it as a gym to teach the kids boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jutsu and cage fighting
Or I could just park my tractor in it. There isn't nearly enough storage space as it is, so there's no way it would be wasted.
