Still, I ate some dam good Brussels sprouts today, so life is good.
Thank God John Howard is gone otherwise you would have to settle for turnips.

Don't fall for this housing boom bullshit. You wouldn't believe how much unsold land there is around Adelaide right now. Many houses on the markets for months before anyone even notices. The media are just obeying their real estate revenue masters and are keeping the gods happy by publishing scare stories about shortages and price increases. Don't forget the real estate industry provide billions in advertising dollars to the TV, radio and newspaper media and are looking for returns on their investments. Don't fall for it.

I hope the housing market goes belly up, it is totaly unrealistic, the real estate agents have pushed prises up by auctioning instead of selling Remember when there was more "For sale" signs rather than "Auction"
Greedy bastards they are.

Some good news.
Eric Johnston 12:00AM | Not only are first home buyers swamping banks with mortgage applications, they are taking out bigger loans.

So doesn't look like house prices will drop.

Happy now, Froges?

My husband and I are looking for a new house in a better area than we currently live in. The houses prices of our targeted locations are certainly eye opening. Hopefully all our years of saving like crazy will pay off.

I just hope Hackham doesn't go down the same path as Golden Grove, which became very popular a few years ago and is now crime-ridden and full of gangs. The areas we're aiming for are in the western beach suburbs - Henley Beach, Grange or West Beach. But they're expensive. We'll just have to wait and see.

There could still be good bargains in Hindmarsh West and then westwards from there. Even Hindmarsh is only 15 min from the sea down Grange Rd.
