Florida did not close it's border, made vaccinations voluntary, had no lockdowns.

Australia closed state and federal borders, had serious lockdowns, and made vaccinations effectively compulsory.

Ages 16 to 29: 438 deaths
Ages 30 to 39: 1,155 deaths
Ages 40 to 49: 2,782 deaths

As of 2019 32% of Florida's residents were over 60 years old, whereas 16.5% of all Australian residents were.

A key word to note is deaths of persons with Covid-19, but how many actually died from or of Covid-19?

In Florida most residents over 65 years old have multiple underlying conditions, but neither Australia or America note this in their respective 'causes of death', simply did they also have underlying conditions or not?

Florida is not an Island, and like most American States, never considered closing their borders to any another American State's citizens.

In fairness, these potentially distorting factors should be considered when attempting to make comparisons between dissimilar cultures as are Americans and Australians.
