Correct. All this rubbish about purging the World of all things Islam is voodoo.Mainstream Muslim communities in the west have an important role to play here. The best way to ensure the majority of Muslims are not condemned for the acts of a few is to expose that violent minority and give them up to police. Extremists harm their own religious communities as well as broader society. It is in everybody's interests to locate any cells harbouring extremist beliefs before London's horror is witnessed here in Sydney.

No-one is advocating purging the world of all things Islam.
Confining them to their own countries to practice their barbaric fundamentalism is another story. I doubt people don't care what they do so long as it is confined to their own backyards.

We should send Aussie and the rest of the pissweak lefty apologist surrender monkeys back with them along with their other lefty pets, the gays, animal libbers and feminazis - wouldnt be long before either the useful idiots would wake up or the Muzzies will do everyone a favour by separating their useless heads from their underachieving bodies.Black Orchid wrote:No-one is advocating purging the world of all things Islam.

It's a disease brought about by strong feelings of inadequacy and ineptitude within their psyche. They feel persecuted by their own inadequacies. They project this towards minority standpoints in the hope they will feel good about themselves, which will never happen.IQS.RLOW wrote:We should send Aussie and the rest of the pissweak lefty apologist surrender monkeys back with them along with their other lefty pets, the gays, animal libbers and feminazis - wouldnt be long before either the useful idiots would wake up or the Muzzies will do everyone a favour by separating their useless heads from their underachieving bodies.Black Orchid wrote:No-one is advocating purging the world of all things Islam.

Re: Religion of pieces of human flesh
This is a foreign policy issue.
People feel powerless when they see their brothers suffer due to western policies or bias. We go in and flex our muscle in the wars we entertain. We are only interested in wars that support our interests and not those countries were we don't. The west has lost the high moral ground. The average person in these countries feels powerless.
Radicals leverage the Muslim faith for their own political agenda. They claim it is a religious war and in that circumstance all of Islam should rise to defend the faith from the infidels as outlined/commanded by their prophet, Mohammad (peace be upon him).
They strike through their limited means, terrorism, because that is the only thing they can do. The west is too powerful to take on in a traditional war. We respond by going in to change the regime or supporting despots that appear to allow us to protect our interests (read oil).
It will be great in 20 years time when the US and its approach to being self sufficient for energy and synthetic oil occurs. Interest in these countries will reduce and they maybe allowed to manage themselves to their natural self destruction so they can rebuild their societies in a natural way.
We have laws against preaching hate. Clerics in the Mosques should be locked up and if necessary deported for preaching hate in our western countries. This is not happening because everyone is too bloody PC to have a go. It is time for the Muslim leadership in Western countries to sort their own house out or the law should be changed to sort them out.
It is not the religion that is the issue. It is the preachers of hate that seek to radicalise their young men to act in a manner that is not in the spirit of being a good Muslim. It is the clerics abusing their leadership responsibility to promote their political agenda through the guided actions of the weak minded, disenfranchised and stupid minority they can influence.
I personally, being an atheist, believe that religion is for the " weak minded, disenfranchised and stupid minority that can be easily influences.". So they have a huge resourced pool that turns up every Friday to pick from and this is a growing faith.
The only long term thing I can think of would be if the UN made it international law that every country must have constitutions, formally or informally, that demands the separation of State and Religion and the world goes to war to implement this ideal. Built into these constitution is the foundation that outlaws the type of preaching we see today without limited our right to free speech. With free speech come responsibility.

These women were truly brave and I have that get some sort of honours for it.

A mother and daughter, part of the trio dubbed the “Angels of Woolwich” after facing up to the soldier’s killers, have denied being brave, saying “it had to be done”.

Australia is a free country. Nobody tells you what god you should worship, or whether you should worship anything. The problem, as I see it, is MULTICULTURALISM .... and the PC brigade.
Migrants who come here should learn the language (English) and embrace the Aussie way of life, not create areas in cities where only a certain migrant is "allowed" to reside and they should get with the Plan to be an Aussie, that is why the came here, right?
The UK and USA have gone down the wrong track, over the years, and I would hate it if Australia ends up the same way. Thus far, Australia hasn't had so-called attacks by ME terrorists. We aren't as important in the World as we think we are, thankfully. However, Aussies are just as proud of their country as Britain and North America (and elsewhere) is. The Olympic Games is a good indication of how so many countries can be nice to each other ....even if it is sport!
I don't hate any religion, I just prefer to believe there is no such thing as a "higher being", so I tune out and roll my eyes when someone mentions Heaven and Hell. It is not a prerequisite to be a christian when applying to migrate here. The refugees should be bloody glad that they are processed and should leave their prejudices back where they originated, take up the Australian way of life and stop expecting Australia to be like the country they left.
Most migrants fit in well and it must be difficult to move to a new country where everything is so different but, if it was me, the first thing I would do would be to learn to speak the language and try my hardest to fit into my new country.

It's pretty unbelievable that this happened, and then they got to strut around for 20 minutes, gloating about it as people just wandered by.
