Yeah, not like over a year after they were elected or anything, shit for brains?
And of course, geniuses like you and "free money!" Ruddy knew this global meltdown was gonna happen.
Ya got a time frame on "come into" for me for future reference? Probably at least 10 years, if you consider some smart people are saying the left wing CLINTON government started this whole mess. Come into, indeed.
I'm sure you're attempting to make a contribution to the subject under discussion, but for the life of me I fail to see what it is. Would you like to re-phrase, perhaps, leaving out the ad-hominem distractions if at all possible.

Clinton continued what Reagan began.

NOTHING in the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) required the banks to lend money to people who couldn't repay the loan. So much for saying Clinton 'did it.'
Mortgage brokers did write out bad loans and quickly parceled them up with some good loans and sold them as CDOs which ratings agencies incorrectly gave AAA ratings to. Regulators were asleep on the job.
Here the Rudd govt is introducing Bills to give APRA the powers it needed to do its job. Costello should have done this, but the hammock was more comfy I guess.

Hahahaha Bronny and the Member for Dickson got expelled from the House for an hour
Dunno what it is about but it is a rowdy QT. I notice Hockey has not asked a single question of Swan! Maybe he is swotting up "Economics for Dummies" b4 asking another question. His questions yesterday were crap!

I wonder if Howard's tight control over the years has some responsibility for the apparent implosion now the party has been freed.

Well, the Lieberals have a history of a Leader surrounding himself with mediocrities so that he wouldn't ever be challenged. Thus, Ming asleep in the PM chair for 17 years. Thus Howard keeping Costello & Downer around him, etc. The factions ensure this can't happen in the ALP, not to the same extent anyway, tho now Rudd has neutralised that to some extent by assuming to himself the power to appoint caucus members to Cabinet.
So, when the Leader goes, the party needs a couple of elections to get rid of deadwood and get some decent new MPs. With Howard gone, and his mystique the Lieberals are left with pretty much just deadwood.
Roosterman is imploding but WTF can they find to replace him?

I thought the way Turnbull and Bishop went after Fitzgibbon today was very well co-ordinated and thoroughly justified. The buffoon clearly either has no control of his department or no knowledge of what it's doing. Naturally the censure motion wasn't going to get up but it had the desired effect in that the issue will receive the attention it ought to have received in October 2008.

Monk has been sobbing in the back corner of his shop in the foetal position after that so it might take him a day or so to invent some kind of plausible deniabilty excuse for the oppositions unwarranted attack on a distinguished minister of his beloved masturbation material...the Rudd Govt
