Im glad we got that sorted....
Personally, I think that if a parent is dissatisfied with the education system, and is suddenly
offered an opportunity to work from home, depending on that persons skills and personal
circumstances, they may seriously consider home schooling for their child.
I dont think I could have done it, but the times, they are a changing...

I don't necessarily agree with home schooling and you have to be extremely dedicated to do it. I doubt I could do it myself. I think it's more important to have your child schooled in an environment that more aligns with your own beliefs and then supplement that at home.
Their were several home schooled kids around when mine were at school and they were strange kids. Social pariahs to the other kids because they were well ... strange.

Re: Combining work from home with home schooling.
Does anyone think that they could home school whilst working from home.
Thats the crux of the thread.
Will it become prevalent...experimental, perhaps...
I suppose if it didnt work, then the child goes back to school....
If parents are disillusioned about the education system and what it offers/brainwashes...
..then maybe they would consider home schooling...if they worked from home....
Just sayin'......

Absolutely NOT! It's one or the other. Anyone trying to home school their kids needs to devote ALL their time to that. You can't work 2 jobs in the same timespan.billy the kid wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 2:32 pmDoes anyone think that they could home school whilst working from home.
