I won’t argue with that, but intentionally having kids outside of a stable 2 parent home is setting a kid up for failure and unwise on the part of the parents.

We have dash cams on our cars.
My little darling wife was explaining to me about this person pulling out in front of her requiring her to brake rather hard.

I thought " beauty, I'll have evidence of her swearing"
My wife never swears....ever.
So I got the dash cam and scrolled through the footage.

There it was, the car pulled out, hard braking, antilock juddering .
And I the background my darling wife's clear voice......."Oh, you silly person"
Yep, that's it.
My kids think it's a hoot
My eldest, says that she is going to turn off the sound in her dash cam.
My youngest also

Noticed Jones and Richo talking to a guru the other day about the effect mobile phones and the like
are having on kids. Seems as though the guru is saying kids are growing up without any ability to interact
these days as friends are all on facebook and not actually physical friends.
People communicate by sms, tweet or facebook, rather than face to face.
Feelings and friendships are not cultivated, and an inability to cope with problems is being uncovered.

Funny that...they need a survey to discover this...I could have told them they are fuckups 10 years ago.....

Mobile Phones have been around for 20+ years for personal use. I got my first one in 2001. Why? Because I could. Never did much with it though. Still don't and I don't answer the phone (landline or otherwise) unless I really want to ... let it go to the message bank.

I am IN CHARGE of my life ... not the bloody phone.

Kids will be kids. ALL their friends have the latest phone ... eventually, I suspect that they won't remember how to use a pencil or biro and just use their thumbs.

Kids always push boundaries - but these days there are no boundaries until its out of control.

Allow parents to parent and teachers, not only teach, but to discipline.

We are now seeing massive fights in schools which include students attacking Teachers - Then the Teacher stands down while an investigation takes place
