Palmer is not an independent and I cannot stand the man but he still has some good policies. He wants to stop the selling of our ports, airports, infrastructure etc to foreign bodies. I absolutely and totally agree with this.

He also claims on his policy page that Australian pensioners are paid less per fortnight than asylum seekers. If this is true it is an absolute DISGRACE!!

Pensions are never going to be increased by 20% but if the rest is correct it's a case of both major parties working AGAINST us and to our detriment. Voting for either one is just substantiating their theft and contempt of the Australian people.

I really do wish that POLITICIANS would stop citing that Age Pensioners are "low class citizens" and have to survive on dogs food on toast. It's bullshit.

Pensioners on the Age Pension (or part thereof) get a very good deal. If they have worked hard and actually OWN their own home, they get all sorts of "rebates" on rates, electricity and etcetera. If they don't own their own home, they get a far reduced rent in a Government house ... for Life, plus the rest of it.

DSP Pensioners get ditto.

Bludgers get nothing.

Hey, Cods! I have always voted Liberal ... except 2016 when I got my name marked off and wrote something rude on the ballot about turncoats.

IF I don't vote for the Liberals, I will either not vote at all (and pay the 20 bucks) or vote informal, again.

There is NO WAY I would vote for an independent (or Labor/Greens) ever!

UNLESS Morrison comes up with "less immigration" and scraps the "climate change" stuff and various other things he is just Turnbull-lite ... he NEEDS to get the MILLION CONSERVATIVE VOTERS back and then he WILL win.

I presume that asylum seekers get paid the same as the dole bludgers/unemployed .... which is more money than most of them have ever seen.

Age Pensioners get a reasonable income and IF they have their own home or government housing, should NOT complain.

Well yes he is in a way because I am absolutely AGAINST the continued selling of our ports, airports and infrastructure to foreign countries. I take it you just don't care and I find that shocking.
