Funny, that isn't the message I get every time I log on here, Neferti. It appears to me that people here prefer right wing fantasy over the truth. Funny that, hey?Neferti~ wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2019 5:08 pmMark Latham has every right to re-enter the political scene under a different guise as anyone does. Australia is still a FREE country.
Pauline Hanson has every right to do her thing too. So what?
NOBODY is telling you that you HAVE to VOTE for either of them.
God some people are pathetic.

That handshake was hardly Latham's finest hour. It was embarrassing to see and back then I could not stand a bar of him. He was Labor's great white hope and was nothing but a thug.
I also would NOT call it a "real man" move. More the jellyfish move of a very angry man. Thank God he seems to have changed from the bully he used to be. Took him awhile but finally he grew up.

I reckon we should campaign for a gender quota for and equal representation of gaol/jail inmates.
A man and a woman can commit the same crime, he gets gaol, she gets councelling.
Equality should mean equal responsibility too.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

No, actually that fear is super ego, which is related to anxiety.
Ego per se is the feel good effect when you feel strong, win an event, win money, gain popularity ect ect.
In the Vedic (Hindu based) doctrine ego resides in the pituitary gland, and when you feel good about yourself the gland swells - thus the term "head swell". Ego is necessary for planning and optimism.
Super ego resides in the pineal gland, and when depressed, worried, or have sexual deviant thoughts the pineal gland swells.
Super ego is related to survival instinks.
Interestingly, an autopsy study done about 25 years ago on heterosexual males who died in car crashes were compared to homosexual males who died of AIDS. The homosexuals were found to have enlarged pineal glands.

They woukd get more than a crushed hand.
howard was a cowardly bully
Lording over people by using his political pull and backstabbing.
But when it didn't work on Latham, he resorted to the lowest of the low, attacking his family.
howard deserved more than that handshake.
And as a war criminal, pedophile apologist, liar and all round creep.
He will rot in hell.

I don't remember anything about Howard insulting Latham's wife and I can't find any reference to it. It was usually Latham doing the insulting. Got a link?

https://www.vice.com/en_au/article/8x9d ... -handshaken 2015, he appeared on Channel 7's The Morning Show to spruik his book Latham at Large, and explained the reasoning behind the infamous shake. "Five days earlier, in coming along the line to shake everyone's hand, Howard squeezed my wife's hand so tight, she turned to me and said, 'That little fella crushed my hand.' At a time when we talk about the problem of domestic violence, I didn't fancy the idea of this little bloke crushing my wife's hand to the point where she was almost crying."
He went on: "He's lucky, that's all he got… if it was out on the streets or the pubs of where I live, they would have decked the bastard."

She could have been one of these women who only lightly hold your finger tips in place of a real handshake and Howard grabbed her whole hand in a real handshake. Who knows? *shrug
I really really hate those limp finger touching 'hand shakes'.

Yes. who knows, does show a bit about Lathams mental outlook that he immediately considered it a deliberate act by Howard.
