Ive eaten dog exactly twice (that I know of) . I found it gristly and nearly unpalatable. Asians in general treat animals quite cruelly, the manner of these dogs deaths can be horrific, roasted alive and crippling the animals before being bashed to death. Humans have had a partnership with dogs for around 20,000 years, thats a good enough argument not to eat them.

I agree and would never eat dog willingly. I have seen how they torture dogs in Singapore before they cook them (apparently to make the meat sweeter?) and visions of that have haunted me ever since. It's appalling and they are probably even worse in China.

No thanks.

If the dog meat was gristly and unpalatable, you didn't get it prepared correctly.

Just like beef, lamb and even fish
Cook it right, and it's beautiful.

I've had many beef and lamb dishes that have been grisly and unpalatable.

Snake and crocodile however, do tend to be a little tough, no matter how you cook them.
They are better in stews or in thin slices.

And the best way to cook meat
Is to cook it real slow, really slow over 24 hours on low heat.
Then sear it when it's ready to eat.

Tender, and full of flavour.
And it SHOUKD be rare, really rare.

I said gristly, not grisly. No amount of cooking will get rid of gristle. You know what gristle is right?

Yeah

I know what gristle is.

But I buy better quality meat and don't see it often

And if you got grisly dog,
You were being fed the crap part.
Probably because you deserve no better.

It's sad, I know
But the way we, as humans, tray all animals, including our own species, is disgusting.

But tgere are worse
The "halal" method of murdering animals is as inhumane as it gets.

First some cultist screams prayers non- stop while the poor animal is restrained and has it's throat cut.
It is then allowed to bleed slowly to death, terrified and being subjected to the primitive walings of the cultist butcher's.
I don't know which is worse
Listening to the incessant pig wailing from the cultist
Or
Dying slowly from blood loss

I guess it's a godsend when the poor animal dies, at least the grunting wailing stops.

This is the way of the cult
Find the worst possible way to torture and kill
Then make a ritual of it
