I reckon the strawberry picker story is the biggest insight into his real personality.

Firstly, the accused deserves a defense and as unpalatable as it may be, even a mentally disabled woman needs to have her story vigorously tested.
But here's the thing that shows Aussie's true colours.

He used the case for bragging rights and even tried to initiate a guessing game about what he asked her and how he (presumably) had her case tossed out. Anyone decent human being would keep that close to their chest and if the story was ever told, it would be told with remorse and pity for the woman, but he used it to try and lord it over us and prove his superior intellect.
