I haven't been to Sydney for ages but I understand it is now "stiff" (Herbert's term) with Chinese. Is there actually a way to stop rich Chinese people buying property?
Australia has lots of "land" and a very small population but do we need the Immigration we get from certain areas of the world?
I heard from a neighbour yesterday that one of our neighbourhood houses has been bought by a South African couple (Pretoria?) who originally migrated to New Zealand but have found NZ to be "too small", so here they are. I imagine what work opportunities has had some effect, both apparently professionals.
The Reality about Aussie Security.

The Chinese have been purchasing entire apartment blocks in NSW and there has been talk of stopping that but that is all it has been ... talk. It's absurd.

Before 2009, developers could only sell 50 per cent of new dwellings in any development to foreign buyers as a way of ensuring housing stock was available for local buyers.
Half is still ridiculously stupid. 10% is still too high but it's too late now anyway.FOREIGN investors would be banned from buying more than half the homes or apartments in any new development under a plan to help young Australians enter the property market.

I wonder if Warrior can tell us about the Yuan, the Petrodollar and the intention of BRICs in relation to Chinas NWO?
And I wonder what our own government will do in relation to same.

Well I agree with >Black Orchid wrote:I know there are people out there with the mindset that Australia would be better off aligning itself with China than the US but I think you will find that these people are blow-ins to Australia, uneducated, radical leftists and not indicative of "true Aussies".
> but all the controlling interests (termed "Labor Right") of the NSW Labor Party are pro-China, and almost all of them went to Catholic schools.not indicative of "true Aussies".
Then much of what's termed "Labor Left" all over the country are commy Beijing sychophants ...
eg Penny Wong. She may be half Chinese, but I'm pretty sure she was born here.
Makes me wonder who the High Court should really be deciding who's eligible to sit on a green or red seat. Because origin of birth seems to have no bearing on who has "allegiance to a foreign power".
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
