I don't think the locals are pleased with this AA rubbish that was hoisted on them either whereby they have to employ minorities, above anyone else, both in the Police Force and any on contracts above $100k.
A disaster was just waiting to happen.

Is that what happened? or was he simply offered the job because he met the requirements required of someone wanting to join the police?Black Orchid wrote:I don't think the locals are pleased with this AA rubbish that was hoisted on them either whereby they have to employ minorities, above anyone else, both in the Police Force and any on contracts above $100k.

There was mention of the Minneapolis Police Force hiring new recruits via a "quota" system in one of the reports about this. You know what that means, don't you? It ain't whether you are able to do the job, just that you are the "right" person for the job.J o h n S m i t h wrote:Is that what happened? or was he simply offered the job because he met the requirements required of someone wanting to join the police?Black Orchid wrote:I don't think the locals are pleased with this AA rubbish that was hoisted on them either whereby they have to employ minorities, above anyone else, both in the Police Force and any on contracts above $100k.

The Cops are immediately issued with a hand gun, apparently. Shoot first, ask questions later. The Cop who shot this innocent person actually shot from the passenger side ... past his partner's nose, if his partner had moved his head, he might be dead as well. Stupid thing to do. Still "it wasn't my fault" is the excuse.
On reflection, perhaps "Justine" should have minded her own business and not rung 911 to report a "possible rape" in the alley way behind her house. However, she was an Aussie, where ringing the Cops is encouraged ...not America where "getting involved" can be the cause of your own DEATH!

You might have a point, if it was only the minorities shooting people on spec. It isn't, so you don't.IQS.RLOW wrote:Actual discriminatory handing out of policing duties to minorities to satisfy progressive ideology and this is what happens. You have a police force who are not based on merit but on minority status. Mistakes are inevitable because PC ideology is fatal.boxy wrote:Almost indiscriminately hand out guns to all comers, and this is what happens. You have a police force who are constantly scared for their life and will shoot first, ask questions later. Mistakes are as inevitable as they are fatal.

there was mention? so who mentioned it?
ohh, and by the way, if I was a cop in the US i'd shoot first too. 135 cops were shot dead last year.
In a country where everyone carries a gun, shooting first is the smart option

There are plenty of opportunities to be trigger happy in America
