I have no problem with the conga line cheer squad barracking for their team but what has the world come to when people accept such blatant incompetence purely because it leads their party of choice?

The economy is doing quite well at the moment and real estate is buoyant because of low interest rates and low inflation. All that will change under an Abbott government when he opens the doors wider to foreign business (not investment), of which we benefit little. When he starts rescinding taxes - where do the right whingers think he's going to get the money for his "promises"?

Even big business isn't making any commentary about Abbott's promises being great for the economy and it's so close to the election. It also looks like the media is slowly backing off from their attacks on Gillard.

In comparison to the rest of the world we are in great shape. I heard an economist say the other day " GDP 2.5 % unemployment 5.5 % It doesn't get much better than this".

the only illegal immigrants in australia came by plane. there are a lot of them - more even than refugees or asylum seekers in fact i expect theres more than 40k of them.

If there are any illegal immigrants that have arrived by plane, they got here with visas and passports and identification...they get sent back when they get caught and cannot get medical, social security or any other public taxpayer funds.

"Your" illegal immigrants, the ones you bend over backwards to defend while they fuck you in the arse so you end up looking like a giant human fucking pretzel- do not get sent back. They pay smugglers to get them here, throw away identification and make up a story so they can get citizenship and receive free money.

They know this because they get phone calls and visits from other illegal immigrants who tell them "you should come here, you get free money, a nice place to stay with food and everything, then they let you out after a while and give you a free house with Tv! There's a whole bunch of locals who defend us because they are leeches on the public purse too!"
