Look, you are right, there is no such thing as perfection. It does not exist. Therefore, when the word is used, it needs context in order for there to be a meaning.Rorschach wrote:1/ No, I thought you were. I'm guessing if you wanted to know for sure there would have to be a huge census taken.Sexy Lady wrote:1/Are you saying that the average woman is 'happy go lucky' Rorschach? I'd disagree with you on that... the average woman is a bit of a stress head, worrying the little things too much and too often.Rorschach wrote:Are you saying in reality the perfect woman is the "average" woman?
2/If we are talking about the perfect woman for the perfect man, then certainly the boundaries I would form would change significantly. But, I don't think that is what is being explored here... I think we are considering the perfect woman for the average man.I'd have thought they were not the same thing.
2/ I don't think there is a perfect woman or a perfect man... too many variables and of course perfection like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I didn't think we were discussing anything about perfection in a man.
But your original description does tick some boxes for me.
The context in which the original article places the 'perfect woman' is in relation to what the 'average' man would appreciate.
The average man is not super tall and prefers their women to be shorter... therefore the perfect woman for most men would be about 5'5"
The average man does not like to be nagged and dragged into domesticity... therefore the perfect woman for most men is the happy go lucky type.
The average man is over weight and inclined to mild jealousy... therefore the perfect woman for most men is overweight. (Not obese... just overweight... maybe one size up from their ideal)
As to looks? Invariably, all men like a face that is healthy, smiling and with good symmetry.
