A tired old man leading a tired govt that had allowed hubris to use Senate control to pass WorkChoices legislation. I believe Rudd had help in the form of the YRAW campaign!

Pity Gillard, who had more support, agreed to be deputy to Rudd.

Say what you may about Rudd, he did what Crean, Beazley, Latham and even the mighty Keating before him could not. He knocked the old man off. Sent him packing, the old coot even lost his seat. Some might suggest an electioneer like that at the stick is ALP's only way out of the hole it's in.

He is no leader and no PM. An obsessive micromanager who squibbed an awful lot of decisions. I am grateful he knocked off Howard and for the Apology.

He should have concentrated on being FM.

Gillard has achieved more in one year than Rudd in three and Howard in 12.

Yes, the polls may have turned against the Libs when Rudd replaced Beazley but that is because Beazley wasn’t cutting through anymore.

Everything major that Gillard has achieved, was already in motion during the Rudd Prime Ministership, she just continued what the party had already committed to.
