Greens on the slide into history! ALP the one true progressive party!

Fuck the Greens, pretentious middleclass twats! Decent people don’t like ASs being left to drown. That will come to haunt the Libs too!
It takes a true believer to hail a 6% swing away as a victory.
With a lot of Libs strategically voting Green, why not? Only one winner and it ain’t the Greens!

I think She’s finished. It would be foolish to think voters are going to vote for her again. Moreover she has denigrated and demonized everyone who disagrees with her which is the majority. How can she possibly expect anyone to vote for her.

I saw that the front page story on the weekend SMH was about a union leader assuring everyone that he would keep on supporting Gillard as PM.

If that isn't a sign of the end approaching, I don't know what is.

A leftwing seat populated by public servants, Uni students and leftists with no liberal candidate and labor can barely muster 30% of the primary

Does that tell you something about your party's future Monk?

Welcome to PA Capitus. Yes she is finished, which is a pity. It would have been nice to have a competent female PM with empathy towards the electorate - but she's been hanging on tenuously by a thread from the day she first ousted Rudd.

He will have to be returned before Christmas. It's the only chance Labor believe they have, although Rudd in his own way wasn't much better than Gillard - just more likeable.

It's tragic that she will go down in history as Australia's first female PM, even though she was never elected by the people

It will be a very long time before another female has a shot at the top job. She has probably set the female political movement back 100 years. Well done Juliar

If only Abbott had offered more.

Abbott wasn't as stupid as the ALP.
Look where they are now after offering 'more'

Well I tend to not agree with the not elected bit, she managed to form a gov, on that ground as the leader of the majority party in that agreement she is rightfully elected as PM.
But to humour the argument she was not elected , she well may go down in the yarns of time as having never been elected, AND never been booted out by the electorate.
A lot of people will be pissed off they didn't get the chance to do that. I never realized how hated she was until I went to Sydney a couple of weeks ago,EVERYONE I caught up with mentioned how they hated her. A lot believe the phony Tony hype, that the world will end as a result of the carbon tax, others, hate for knifing Rudd. but there was one common theme, they hate her, full stop.
