Thanks for the warm replies crew.
The prickles are Spear grass and Coblers pegs [aka 'Farmers friends' in parts of NSW].
The spear grass takes over because I have no cattle to eat it, and fields of Coblers pegs arise wherever the wallabies routinely rest.
If only it was Maryjane weed I had acres and acres of.
The dog [Rocket] is good mellie. He's good at finding pigs hiding in the Lantana which I'd pass by without noticing.
Been cold in the hills lately, but probably nothing compared to down South.
Nearest town [Mt Perry] was zero degrees night before last.
I burn lots of firewood. Wonder when they'll whack carbon tax on my campfire?
